POWER OF POSITIVE THINKING

There is a saying... "Master the morning and you can master your day."

When you wake up in the morning... what are the first thoughts that run through you mind?

Do you have that dazed state in the mornings too... where your Subconscious chatter is present and constantly going?

We have many opportunities first thing in the morning to set the stage for the day based on how we feel about and perceive our thought processes.  If the first thoughts we notice are negative, anxiety based, problems expected in some future time, or worries that we have about any situation that we expect to have; we are saying to ourselves "I expect these things to happen today", and therefore we will bring into being those situations.

When we begin to notice that we are going in circles in our mind with negative thought patterns, we can create subtle changes and use various techniques to switch from a negative thinking pattern to a either neutral or positive thinking pattern.  This creates a huge noticeable shift in our daily lives.

One thing I am still learning and finding true in my life is that each opportunity I can become aware of a negative thought pattern loop, an opportunity also arises to strengthen a habit to observe and shift it.  In those moments, I try to remember that it is possible to stop and remove a negative thought process using various techniques available to us... and the value of using them.

One very useful trick I learned along the travels from being able to wake up without an alarm in a rush to have to go somewhere, is that if I can sit with and be conscious of what is going on in my conscious subconscious thought loops first thing when I wake up; I can begin the process of becoming more and more aware of my Subconscious patterns throughout the day.

I believe we then can become more consciously aware of the common themes by learning to observe these thoughts from an unattached space of consciousness (like in mindfulness meditation practices).  From there, we can gradually learn to find subtle ways to stop the cycling stream and break the inner narrative into various sections to find what kind of "Anxiety" or "Fear" topic they are all stemmed in.

(Are they positive, progressive, and hopeful -or- or are they negative, worrisome, or fearful?)

We can begin by questioning the validity of the thoughts and train our perspective to anticipate a positive outcome to any situation we may be faced with throughout the day.  If it is an insecurity of some kind, we can flip it around and find a positive attribute about ourselves that we can change the focus to, or we can think of hopeful ways to overcome whatever it is that we do not feel secure about through-out the day.

This sets a motivated mood in the morning to go to the gym that day, buy cloths, talk to a certain person with a positive outlook, or whatever it is that subtle shift changed in our thought processes and expectations for the day.

Using this technique, we become more inspired to create a positive outcome to any of the situations we were once worried and anxious about in the morning when we woke up.

HERE ARE 3 SIMPLE TECHNIQUES YOU CAN APPLY TO YOUR LIFE TO CREATE THE SUBTLE CHANGES NECCESSARY TO STOP THE NEGATIVE SUBCONSCIOUS HABITS.

- Simply observe and seek to understand why you may be having them.  They are usually based on an insecurity within your body you are not consciously aware of.  By noticing and consciously redirecting the thought, you can completely change the thought process and become aware of where it stemmed from.

This creates an opportunity to change the way we feel by a variety of methods available to us.  You can look at something enjoyable in your environment, close your eyes and simply seek a peaceful mind space, do fun things like jump up and down, or simply just smile because it is biologically proven to instantly improve our moods.

- When you notice these though patterns... you can seek immediate ways to break the pattern or follow them back to where them stem from.  I have a friend that would go through-out his day with a rubber band on his wrist and every time he noticed he had negative (unproductive / destructive / victimizing) thought process going on in his mind... he would snap the rubber band on his wrist.

This brings you back "into the moment" and breaks the thought process instantly because of the sharp quick pain this practice creates and it forces the mind to focus on that, rather than the repetitive thought process rolling through the psyche.  Therefor, providing another opportunity to change the thought processes cycling in the back of our mind in that moment.

- I know it is kind of a "cliché" thing to suggest -yet- reading and listening to Positive Affirmations can be a very beneficial way of creating positive thought pattern habits.  Though, I would like to approach this technique from a different perspective than many are used to hearing.

Affirmations can be a very useful practice to get into only if we can connect with and see validity in the "I am" statements.  I have learned from my own practice that only if I can say "YES... THIS IS TRUE" to the affirmations does it create those feelings in me that is empowered by the affirmation.

So for this technique, I would like to suggest something new to do that I believe will have more impact than finding a random recording online.  You can begin by writing down as many positive things about yourself as you can think of, that you feel are accurate statements, and repeat them to yourself as you write them down. (Best to do this while already in a positive mood)

Then from there... speak and record them in an audio form to listen to as often as possible.  Lets face it, we like to hear ourselves talk.  Therefor, when we listen to our recording and feel connected to the affirmations, we will receive more benefit from the recordings and they will have a stronger impact on our Subconscious.  Going to sleep listening to them has a great effect on our psyche as well.

To take this technique a step further, we can also overlap them on various Binary Beet audios and listen to them throughout the day. This technique helps to further imprint these positive thought patterns into our psyche because of the various binary frequency wave patterns these frequencies induces in our brains. (Alpha, Beta, Theta, & Delta. Research for binary beets for the neurological functions HERE)

IN CONCLUSION

How we create the day in the waking perspectives of our daily experience is perhaps the most important decision we make in the morning. In many ways, we create that reality throughout the day.  Weather we choose to address the day positive or negative, our experience will typically affirm our expectations, whereby strengthening those thought patterns. This may become a perpetual cycle (subconscious habit) if not addressed.

Easy Question...

Would you rather have a "Good" day... or "Bad" day?

It's up to you!
